As a result, when he heard the news about the Celebrity Poker Showdown that started airing on the Bravo cable network, he was one of the first to sign up.
Sadly Perry didn't come out the winner and took a lot of criticism from poker pro Phil Gordon, who happens to be the co-host of the said televised poker tournament. Perry showed up one more time in the fourth season of Celebrity Poker Showdown. He play against Christopher Meloni, Stephen Root, Sarah Silverman and Michael Vartan. He was one of the lucky actors who made it victoriously to the final poker table to play against Dennis Rodman, Kevin Nealon, Neil Patrick harris and Mekhi Phifer. This time he got Phil Gordon's praising words.
Some says Perry will become a heavy online poker player but Perry admits that he does have quite some problem in handling cards. When good cards drops on his hand he hums to himself. And a professional would notice that and take that habit as a way to defeat him.
